Jonathan Haigh is my cousin. He had a rare ageing disorder, cockaynes syndrome. He never let this hold him back. He never complained or moaned about it. He died at the age of 27. Just under 3 months before he would turn 28. He was never treated different, he or his family would never allow it. He lived in Barnsley all his life. He has one older brother Richard. He lived with both of his parents Ray and Christine. Christine was and still is the best mother Jonathan could ever have, and the sort of person everyone wishes was their mother. She has devoted all of her life to our special little angel. Jonathan was a pure soul. He was so loving and caring. Jonathan loved animals. He loved women, he was forever asking women to marry him. Offering them rings and telling his mother to arrange the marridge. Everyone who met Jonathan remembered him, he had a lovely warm glow around him. He was a true camedian, always making people laugh. Jonathan didn't like miserable people. He loved to make people smile. Even at his funeral he had everyone in stitches, laughing about the things he used to do. He was the most amazing person you could ever wish to meet. He is a true inspiration to us all. He is missed dearly and always will be and he always will be loved. He was a true angel on this earth. Jonathan died on the 12th april 2007, a date that wil never be forgotten. His birthday is the 10th of july, a day that will always be celebrated. God bless you Jonathan and may you always feel peace.
A GIFT FROM GOD (taken from jonathans tribute book)
An angel was sent from heaven above,
A special one that would bring much love,
God knew that this precious life would be short,
So he look around for a tender heart.
He made this choice and the gift was sent,
In what seemed like a moment the angel went,
Leaving treasured memories, and a heart full of pain,
A void, an abyss, tears flowed like rain.

The wonderful thing that's happened to me,
Jesus was waiting,his arms opened wide,
And he and his angels brought me inside,
Such a beutiful place that i cannot describe,
A new home for me from the moment i died,
I'll wait here for you, so dry up ypur tears,
And go bravely on with your life free from fears,
know that gods near you to help and to guide,
He'll never desert you, he's there by your side,
So speak to him daily from inside your heart,
And let him assure you, we're not really apart.

A meeting was held quite far from earth,
"It's time again for another birth"
Said that angels to the lord above,
"This special child will need much love"
His progress may seem very slow,
Accomplishments he may not show;
And he will require some extra care,
From the folks he meet down there.
He may not run or laugh and play,
His thoughts may seem quite far away,
In many ways he won't adapt,
And he'll be know as handicapped.
So let's be careful where he's sent,
We want his life to be content,
Please lord find the parents who will do this special job for you.
They will not realize right away,
The leading role they're asked to play,
But with this child sent from above, Comes stronger faith and richer love,
And soon they'll know the privilege given,
In caring for the gift from heaven,
Their precious child so meek and mild,

We watched you day by day.We cried and prayed that your dear life would would not be taken away. All my love
This is for my son Jonathan he was the best son a family could have wished for. He was kid to everyone and loved everyone he met. OUR ANGEL JONATHAN.
We had a son sent from god above just for us so full of love, he was so kind to everyone and loved everyone he met. Jonathan also loved all his pets which we still have and they are doing well but they too miss him. They say that god only takesthe best well he did that day but we wish he could have let us have a few more years with us. God bless our son Jonathan keep him safe till we meet again.
